Private limited edition watch
It is the 115th anniversary of our golf club this year. We decided to celebrate this important milestone in style so we got together with the new Czech watch producer BOHEMATIC to create something special for you. We are proud to present a private edition of BOHEMATIC's GRAPHIC SUTNAR watch model limited to 10 pieces. The DNA of this exceptional watch is full of genes of the renowned Czech artist, graphic designer and painter Ladislav Sutnar whose work is part of the foundations of contemporary visual communication, graphic design and typography. Together with the watchmakers from Nové Město nad Metují and the designers from the studio Olgoj Chorchoj we managed to decorate this ticking gem with a number of symbols of our golf club.
The watch's dial
The silver dial with raised indices is decorated with an outline of the challenge cup used at the Czech Open tournaments in the years 1935 - 1940. The number 18 inside it refers to the number of holes of our golf course. The unique second hand, silhouetting a golf club and ball, and the raised round window encircling the date window show one of our club colours.
The strap
The hand-stitched leather strap in green leather with cream stitching also echoes our club colours and, together with the red used on the watch, it underscores the uniqueness of this private edition.
The crown
Not surprisingly, the satin finished crown of the watch is decorated with the royal crown that links our club to the English royal family which connection has been with us throughout our club's history.
The clasp
The deployant clasp makes a discreet reference to the year of the founding of our club by King Edward VII of England.
The caseback
The back of the watch has a very nice feature in the form of a round window offering a view of the rotating balance wheel of its Swiss mechanical movement. In addition to this we engraved the back with a logo commemorating the 115th anniversary of the club's founding. Each one of the ten pieces in this limited edition also bears the watch's individual number indicating its order in the series.
